About the Blue Heart
This Blue Heart, infilled with coloured pieces of a Jigsaw Puzzle, and wrapped in a Rainbow border, has a special meaning for some.
It is my way of showing that
Can you see it? The Blue Heart represents awareness, the Jigsaw pieces represent diversity, and the Rainbow border represents pride – Be Proud to be Different.
That is why everything that I offer, from self-guided walking tours to travel coaching, is fully customisable, to support individual uniqueness and different ways of thinking.
My travel coaching offerings, in particular, are tailored for each person to ensure you get the best value and benefit from the program. I call it “You Travel Your Way” – there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution.
I Understand – I Really Do!
I personally belong to a generation that grew up well before neurodiversity was recognised, and I know what it is like to be one of the so-called “naughty ones” in school.
For me, school was mostly boring, with repetitious learning of subjects that held little interest, or apparent future value, such as history (actually, I loathed history!).
Curiously, today history is one of my favourites – but what I want to know are the stories of the people, and how they lived their lives, rather than focussing on the traditional ‘facts’.
This brings history to life, and with a little "historical imagination", I can virtually explore different places and events, and even begin to understand some of the experiences people went through.
My Travel Coaching – "You Travel Your Way"
Through personal experience, I’ve seen how standard travel advice just doesn’t work for everyone.
My background is in corporate adult instructional design, training, and change management, which means I understand how people learn, how they process information, and how to create strategies that actually stick.
As I’m mildly neurodivergent myself, I understand how travel planning and jet lag can hit differently when your nervous system processes things in its own way.
That’s why I’ve dedicated my practice to creating judgment-free, personalized strategies that work WITH your brain, not against it.
